Nico's songs burrow their way into your heart and take up residence, redecorating with lots of tchotchkes, pacing around and reciting Dickinson poems while sipping whiskey 'til your heartbeat starts swinging in 3/4. I couldn't possibly be more biased, but I feel certain that even if I didn't love this boy I'd find this album to be an utterly wrenching masterpiece.
